- Library of Congress: A great online library resource, with endless information and research tools available!
- The World Factbook: A CIA website, which provides up-to-date information on all the world's countries.
- National Geographic: This site has tons of interesting features, including images, current events and historical information for countries all over the world.
- UNICEF: This website has lots of information about countries, but also includes articles and current events on dozens of pressing issues worldwide.

- Animoto: Easy online video-making! It is free for short videos.
- Glogster: A really neat interactive poster tool, it is a great alternative option for PowerPoint or poster projects.
- Photovisi: Online collage and photo site; and it is free!
- Popplet: A very versatile resource for creating idea boards and visual aids. It is also collaborative, so you can create with your friends!
- Prezi: An increasingly popular replacement for PowerPoint, this is a very fun and visual way to present your ideas and presentations.
